RPI is looking to study abroad for the next three years, as the university continues to expand its program of study abroad.
In a press release on Wednesday, RPI president M.S. Rao said the university has a new focus for study abroad in 2017 and 2018.
The university’s new focus is on creating an environment for students and their families to travel to new locations in order to study, Rao said.
Rao added that RPI has partnered with the National Centre for Study in New Zealand, which provides scholarships for foreign students.
The new focus will include the following destinations:Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the U.S., and the United States.
Rafael G. de la Torre, dean of the College of Education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, also announced the new focus, calling it an opportunity to bring students from all over the world together to share in a new learning experience.
Rensselauer Polytechnics is the second largest university in the state of New York and the third largest in the United State.
